Frank W. Meissner, MD, Medical Director of Cardiovascular Services at FDRMC, has moved to a new office in Eagle Pass. He will continue seeing patients at the hospital.

Dr. Meissner performs in-hospital device implementation, such as pacemakers. "I'm happy patients don't have to leave the area and travel to San Antonio for these procedures," he says.

For the future, Dr. Meissner is working with the hospital to offer noninvasive coronary catherization. This is another service that will enable local residents to stay close to home for their cardiac care.

"I look forward to continuing to see patients at Fort Duncan, and to developing a top-notch cardiovascular program. We have an excellent team and equipment and perform important tests, such as echocardiography and stress testing," Dr. Meissner says.
